Pat's Story...

Patrick Joseph was born in June of 1978 to Katherine Cureton and David Davenport.  They divorced when Pat was about two.  In 1980 Kathy met Steve Nave, a year later they were married, and have been together ever since.  Pat's brother Matthew was born in August 1983, and later, a baby sister, Tasha, in February 2001.

David Davenport also fathered four other boys.  David G Davenport Jr (who passed away as a young child), Kenneth Davenport, Byron Davenport, and James Davenport.  In 1982 David married Petra Jaeschke, and they have been together ever since.

Pat had a rather troubled childhood.  He was constantly breaking the rules, and pushing the envelope.  He was suspended, from school, on numerous occasions, and eventually ended up at a school for troubled youth in Colorado.  He stayed there until he graduated.  Although the strict rules were good for discipline, the environment also hardened him to the rest of the world.  He came back to Montana, with a definite 'chip' on his shoulder.  Once he was back he continued to live in the hard ways.  He lived a 'rough and tumble' lifestyle.  Getting into physical altercations, getting arrested, drinking heavily, and ultimately doing drugs.

Patrick married Stacy Edwards in 2000, and they had a beautiful baby girl, Tasia Rae in June 2003.  A few years later they got a divorce, and shared custody of Tasia.

Although they never married, Pat also fathered 3 beautiful girls with Savannah Gill.  Oldest to youngest they are: Hailee Jade, Natalie Rose, and Lily RaeLynn AnneMarie.

After letting drugs run his life for the better half of 10 years, Pat decided he no longer wanted to be controlled by a substance, and he stopped using all drugs on April 12, 2008.  He has been sober ever since!

In April of 2009, Patrick turned his life over to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Now that you know all of the facts about Pat, let me tell you a little bit about who is as a person.  Pat is the most wonderful person I have ever met.  If you were to ask me who my hero is, it would be him.  He has overcome so many obstacles in 32 years, he continues to amaze me everyday!  I am so proud of him.  He is also one of the most kind, gentlest people that I know, yet he's also one of the strongest fighters I know.  He knows how to make me smile, especially when I need to smile, and at exactly the right moment, he does.  He is intelligent, but not arrogant.  Most of all, he is my best friend, my rock, my love...he is my husband.
