My Story...

My name is Jen Nave, and I am 26 years old.  I have two beautiful biological sons (Keegan James, and Kayden Joseph), and four beautiful step-daughters (Tasia Rae, Hailee Jade, Natalie Rose, and Lily RaeLynn AnneMarie).  I love motherhood, and I joke that I was born to be a mommy!  I am a follower of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

I was born in Hardin, MT in June of 1984, to Robert Miller and Lori Flack.  My brother, Jason, was born a couple years later, and we moved to Billings, MT.  Several years later, when I was about 10, my parents got divorced.

I like to think I had a pretty normal childhood, then again, what is normal?!

My Dad got remarried several years later to Michaela Orser.  They were married for several years, but ultimately ended up divorcing as well.  She was in my life from the time I was about 11 or 12, until she passed away on May 26, 2005.  She was like a second mom to me, and it was the first time I had experienced a loss of that magnitude.  She was only in her early thirties, and passed away from breast cancer.
My Dad is currently with Leah Doherty, and they have been together for several years.  She has five children:  Jessica, Justin, Jason, Jaclyn, and Cody.

In June of 1995 my Mom gave birth to my little brother, Corey.  I was 11 at the time, and even though we have different dads, he is still my brother, no half involved!  My Mom recently got remarried in 2009, to Troy Blake.  They moved last summer (2010) to Arkansas, because Troy had a job opportunity.  I am happy for them, but I would be lying if I said I didn't miss them!

I graduated from Huntley Project High School in 2002.  In 2003 I went to MSU-Bozeman, but it only lasted a semester!

In 2005, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  Certain aspects of my life were out of control, so I gave the wheel to Jesus!  (I love that song!)  That was the best decision I have ever made.

In 2007 I met my husband for the first time.  This is where 'my' story ends and 'our' story begins!
